My Workshops

. . .and Connecting with Touch Again.

I love people. All my working life, I’ve worked with people; it gives me energy and makes me learn more about life and also myself. I love to create in many ways. . .dressing up, designing and decorating the interior of my house, taking photos and painting. In my last practice, I worked on people’s bodies doing a pressure point technique, which I loved. I never really looked where I worked but I developed a very fine sense of feeling what was happening in people bodies. So touch is one of my very strongly-developed senses, and a sense which I love. That is also why I love texture so much and always notice it where ever I go through my daily life.

Background in Working with Touch

Since 2020, I started to take painting seriously but I also found that I have to use my fingers to paint. Of course, that is getting back to using my favourite sense. So life brought me this gift of doing workshops which we call ‘painting with fingers’. Being an Occupational Therapist, Pressure Point Practitioner, Life Coach and Artist; it all came together with these workshops. In the workshops I see magic happen, people connect with touch again (one of our primary sources of learning about the world as we were born and grew up), I see people get in touch with their inner child (that child that needs to come out and just play sometimes), I see people get lost in touch and a world of creating where there is no expectations or judgement only encouragement, I see them get into their own world and discover things inside themselves, I see people finding their own creative voices – and I love it all!

Healing in Touch

There is so much healing to touch, there is so much healing in play and there is so much healing connecting with your inner child. If that carries forward in your life as a door that had opened through these workshops, I am thankful for that, thankful for everything I have learned and am still learning in life which I bring to the workshops. It’s fun, it’s happiness and even after going initially through a bit of a struggle you will find your voice. That is life at its best, life that gives in that moment a bit of magic for everyone – including me.
