I recently spent some time at a Wellness Centre and, while having lunch, I noticed they changed the centre pieces on the tables to orchids. For me, an orchid was not one of my favourite flowers. I found them too stiff and formal. One of the owners of the Centre was surprised that I felt like that because he especially chose them. So I decided to take photos of them to show myself that I can find beauty in their colours, shapes and lines, and that is exactly what I did. Orchids are wonderful to photograph and tell all sorts of stories of beauty, delicate lines and shapes; if you just look for it.

Lesson learned! Look, because you can miss out on a whole lot of beauty and joy if you don’t.
